Pakistan Captain Babar Azam said that it is an honour to lead the green shirts in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
The players are really excited and that they will play their best cricket.
He said the T20 World Cup is announced and it’s a step forward for us. Babar Azam said like other teams, we are also trying out different team combinations to enter the T20 World Cup as a gelled squad and try to perform better.
Skipper Azam said that UAE offers home-like conditions to them because they had played a lot of cricket there and know the conditions really well.
He said they will try to utilize the conditions as well as possible and use our knowledge of UAE to play good cricket. Babar Azam said there is pressure and a sense of responsibility but added that he is excited to lead in this big event and will try to do even better.
